About Us
Holt Energy Advisors is an advisory firm working with operators, investors, governments, lenders and law firms across the energy sector. From our offices in London, Aberdeen, Cape Town and Port of Spain, we advise on transactions, fiscal and economic modelling, disputes, energy projects and strategy, often in markets and situations where there is no playbook. We are always interested in hearing from talented people who want to do rigorous, independent work and see the results of it first hand.
Why HEA
Real responsibility, early. We are a small firm by design. You won't spend years in the back row. You'll work directly with senior advisers and clients, and your analysis will shape the advice we give.
Breadth few firms can offer. In a single year you might work on a UKCS asset sale, a production sharing contract model for a frontier basin, an expert report in a commercial dispute and a CCUS or hydrogen project. We build wide, durable skill sets rather than narrow specialisms.
International work. Our mandates span the globe but with specific recent focus on Europe, Africa and South America. We work across jurisdictions, fiscal regimes and cultures, and we value people who are curious about all three.

- Self-starters, who take ownership without waiting to be asked

Backgrounds in petroleum economics, engineering, geoscience, finance, law and energy policy are all relevant to our work. We welcome applications from experienced professionals, from those early in their careers, and from senior specialists interested in associate or consulting arrangements.
