Community Partnerships
Holt Energy Advisors is a small firm with a wide footprint, and we believe an advisory business should be judged not only by the quality of its work but by what it contributes to the communities in which it operates. Our approach to charitable giving is deliberately focused. Rather than spreading modest donations thinly across many causes, we choose a small number of organisations close to our offices, commit to them for the long term, and support them with our time, our networks and our fundraising as well as our own funds. We look for charities where a firm of our size can make a tangible difference and where our people can be personally involved.
That approach was shaped by our eight-year relationship with Richard House Children's Hospice in East London, for which the HEA team raised more than £10,000 before the hospice sadly closed in December 2025. We remain proud of that association and grateful to the staff and families we came to know through it.
Our commitment to children's palliative care continues through our partnership with Haven House Children's Hospice, which cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and supports their families. Haven House stepped in to support a number of the families from Richard House at the end of 2025 and we are therefore glad to continue the association.
Reflecting our growing presence in Africa, we are delighted to announce a new partnership with Hout Bay United Football Community in Cape Town, supporting its Legacy 500 campaign, a community-led initiative that reinvests directly in the club and its players, with a focus on nutrition, education and safe housing.
Haven House Children's Hospice
Haven House Children’s Hospice cares for seriously ill babies and children (up to the age of 18) from its facility in Woodfood Green providing round the clock care surrounded in beautiful grounds and woodland and through outreach services in the home and local community. Haven House provide day care, over-night stays, end of life care, bereavement support, as well as life enriching activities such as sensory play, music therapy and physiotherapy and stepped in to support a number of families following the closure of HEA's long-term charity partner, Richard House in December 2025.
Hout Bay United Football Community
Hout Bay United Football Community's mission is to unite the diverse communities of Hout Bay in Cape Town through the power of sport, provide educational and vocational opportunities and develop the next generation of South African footballing talent. HEA is proud to support HBUFC's Legacy 1,000 initiative providing unique fractional support every year.
Richard House Children's Hospice
Richard House served their east London community for over 25 years and was London’s first children’s hospice providing overnight stays, day visits, home care, counselling, and bereavement support for more than 300 children and young people with life-limiting conditions. HEA supported this charity for over 8 years raising over £10,000 but sadly due to cost pressures, the centre closed in December 2025.
