Christmas 2022
This Christmas, the HEA team are again organising our Christmas Raffle to support our local children's hospice in Beckton, Richard House. The Raffle will be drawn on 16th December with prizes including a Luxury Hamper, M&S Voucher, Premier League Hospitality Tickets (Liverpool vs Man Utd), Tablet, Amazon TV Firestick and SmartWatch. Richard House provides palliative care to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across London. Opened in 2000, Richard House was London’s first children’s hospice. It was founded by Life-President Anthea Hare, who was inspired by both her experience as a paediatric nurse at Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. The hospice supports more than 300 families from Newham, Barking, Dagenham, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Redbridge, Haringey, Islington, Ilford, Camden and into South Essex.
