HEA donates children's toys to local Richard House charity shops in East London

LONDON, August 24. HEA has today donated a collection of children's toys to its long-term charity partner, Richard House Children's Hospice, based in Beckton, East London.
The donation will be used to stock the 7 charity shops run by Richard House in its local area which include shops in Barking, Hornchurch and Upminster.
During the COVID-19 crisis, Richard House has remained open to provide vital support to the NHS. As hospitals focus on COVID-19 patients, the Beckton based hospice has been taking children with long term conditions from hospitals, both to provide more beds for the NHS effort, and also to provide a more safe environment for these children.
Richard House has been faced with a substantial drop in their 2020 income and launched an emergency funding appeal back in March. Further details can be found here.
